Dr. Amr Saleh is an Associate Professor of Economics and a Senior Economic Adviser with extensive international experience in economic policy, sustainable development, and public administration. He currently serves as a Senior Economic Adviser to the Chairman of the Economic Department in the UAE and has previously been appointed as Senior Policy Adviser to the Minister of State for Environmental Affairs, where he coordinated USAID-funded environmental projects valued at over USD 220 million. Dr. Saleh has worked closely with major international organizations, including the World Bank, UNDP, IFC, USAID, and the World Economic Forum, contributing to policy design, institutional reform, and capacity-building initiatives across the MENA region and beyond. He has taught economics, public administration, and strategic management in several Arab countries and in France at the University of Orléans. With more than 150 training programs delivered globally, his expertise spans sustainable development, governance, economic competitiveness, policy evaluation, and organizational transformation. He is also a frequent media commentator on global and regional socio-economic issues and has contributed to landmark publications such as the Egypt National Competitiveness Report and the Arab Report on Culture of Development.

Sir Santilli is an Italian-American scientist who graduated in theoretical physics from the University of Naples, Italy, in July, 1960; obtained his Ph. D. at the University of Torino, Italy, in 1965; and then emigrated to the U.S.A. in 1967 where he was on the faculty of the University of Miami, Boston University, MIT, and Harvard University under financial support from NASA, UFOSR and DOE. In 1991 he accepted the position of President and Professor at the Institute for Basic Research in Florida. He is the author of 359 papers published in refereed journals and twenty post Ph. D. monographs in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology; he is the Editor of a number of scientific journals in mathematics and physics and was awarded twelve U. S. patents. He is internationally known for developing new mathematics (known as Santilli's Lie-admissible, Lie-isotopic and isodual mathematics) for the construction of hadronic mechanics, chemistry and biology, and for the verification of the 1935 Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen argument that "quantum mechanics is not a complete theory." These discoveries lead to the prediction of new environmental technologies, incompatible with quantum mechanics but fully compatible with hadronic mechanics, which he developed as Chief Scientist at various U. S. publicly traded and private companies. Ruggero Maria Santilli was knighted with the title of Sir on September 8, 2011, by the Republic of San Marino with the Membership in the Millenary Equestrian Order of Sant’Agata. Additionally, Sir R.M. Santilli has received: the Gold Medal from the Universite' d'Orleans, France, on January 6, 1982; the Nomination among the most illustrious applied mathematicians if all times by the Estonia Academy of Sciences in June 9, 1990; a dedication to his name of a lecture hall by the Australian Science and Research Center on September 9, 1992; the Scientific Prize of the Mediterranean Foundation on January 2, 2009; the Frey International Sustainability Award on November 9, 2016; and the "Stella d'Italia" (Star of Italy) with the title of "Cavaliere" from the Italian President Sergio Mattarella on May 31, 2018; and other important awards.

Edward Carney is Global Head of Sales and marketing for AYK Energy. He is a Graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy. He has close to 40 years’ experience, in the maritime industry almost half that time spent at sea as a marine engineer working on various vessel types throughout his career . He came ashore working as a head of technical operations for a large Cruise line before getting into marine electrification. For the last 10 years he has been involved exclusively in marine batteries.

Dr. Brunner furthermore is a Managing Director and co-founder of Hynergy GmbH, an engineering company to develop technologies and services at the interface between renewable energy and emis sion-free mobility since 2015. Dr. Brunner furthermore is the Managing Director and co-founder of several other German hydrogen technology and green hydrogen companies, including Cryomotive GmbH, the CcH2-CRYOGAS company to disrupt storage and infrastructure for long-haul heavy duty transportation, Hydrogenity GmbH, a green hydrogen produc tion company, as well as Hy2B Wasserstoff GmbH, a leading green hydrogen producer, distrib utor and refueling station operator in Bavaria today. Between 2016 and 2020 Dr. Brunner served Great Wall Motors as their Vice President of Fuel Cell R&D and Hydrogen Business to set up a full-scale hydrogen fuel cell development program including China’s leading hydrogen fuel cell test center. Before 2015 Dr. Brunner has been serving BMW Group in various roles for more than 10 years, most recently as head of BMW’s Technology Project Hydrogen Fuel Cell. Under Dr. Brunner’s supervision several fuel cell electric vehicle prototypes and test fleets as well as novel cryogenic storage and refueling technologies have been developed and demonstrated. Dr. Brunner has been a panel reviewer for the European Commission, the US Department of Energy as well as the Research Council of Norway. He is the author of several reference pub lications on hydrogen technology. In 2019 Dr. Brunner co-initiated the HyPerformer project HyBayern, which has been awarded with € 20 Mio. German funding to establish the first Bavarian Green Hydrogen Region under the company label Hy2B Wasserstoff GmbH. In 2020 Dr. Brunner with Hynergy founded the HyTACC consortium for a National Hydrogen Mobility Center in Lower Bavaria (Pfeffenhausen), which in 2021 has been selected as one of four candidate locations for a future German Innovation Technology Center for Hydrogen. Before starting his professional career in industry in 2004, Dr. Brunner received a doctor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technical University of Munich. Before that he earned degrees in Mechanical Engineering of Technical University of Munich, Germany, as well as of École Centrale Paris, France (2015 merged to Centrale Supélec). Later on, Dr. Brunner passed the International Graduate Program of Kyoto University, Japan.

Dr. Jaroslav Jerz has completed his PhD from Vienna University of Technology (Austria) with dissertation dedicated to the development of aluminum foam by powder metallurgy. He is materials scientist at the Institute of Materials & Machine Mechanics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava (Slovakia). His scientific work is devoted to advanced metallic materials, development of technologies for their industrial production and transfer of knowledge gained by material research into industrial practice.

Dr. Simmons is the Director of the Biological Systems and Engineering Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He also serves as the Chief Science and Technology Officer and Vice-President of the Deconstruction Division at the Joint BioEnergy Institute, a DOE Office of Science funded project tasked with the development and realization of advanced biofuels and bioproducts produced from sustainable, non-food lignocellulosic biomass. After spending 15 years at Sandia National Laboratories, he joined Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory since 2016. He has over 450 publications and holds more than 50 patents.

Dr. Ruomei Li is a distinguished energy expert and global leader in power engineering. She is a Fellow of AETDEW, Senior Member of IEEE, and Honorary Member of CIGRE. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Dual Carbon Branch, China Energy Research Society (CERS) and Vice President of the New Future Foundation Inc. Since 2023, she has been the Task Group Chair of Energy Efficiency for the WFEO Energy Committee. She previously served on the Executive Council of WFEO (2015–2023) and as WIP Chair of IEEE PES (2020–2021). Dr. Li received her Ph.D. from the University of Bath, UK (2000), M.E. from CEPRI, China (1989), and B.E. from Hefei University of Technology (1982). She has held academic and industry positions including Visiting Scholar at UMIST (1994–1995), researcher at CEPRI in power system planning and simulation, Chief Engineer of S&T at CEPRI (2000–2004), and Deputy/Secretary General of CSEE (2004/2009–2013). She has also contributed to leadership roles within CIGRE, CIRED, and WFEO CE. Throughout her career, Dr. Li has made significant contributions to the global energy sector and has received numerous awards, including the National First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress (2008) and the IEEE PES Wanda Reder Pioneer in Power Award (2019). Her current work focuses on carbon neutrality, energy efficiency, and international collaboration in the power and energy sector.

Veronica Pitea, after completing her classical studies in Romania, furthered her education at the University of Oxford. Since 2007, she has been working in strategic marketing, focusing on increasing market share for products of major multinational companies across European markets. In 2011, she moved to Italy, where in 2012 she founded her first consulting company, leveraging the experience gained throughout her career to support SMEs in strengthening their commercial presence in Italy and internationally. At the same time, she has continued her professional development, with a strong focus on managerial and personal growth. Always deeply committed to environmental sustainability, she decided to take a proactive role in raising awareness among a broad audience about the new opportunities offered by energy efficiency and renewable energy production. Through direct dialogue with entrepreneurs—who in the vast majority of cases lack technical expertise in the energy sector—she recognized the urgent need to simplify regulatory and technical aspects. Professor Dr. Jae Hak Jung is a Full Professor in the School of Chemical Engineering at Yeungnam University, South Korea, and currently serves as Dean of the College of Engineering. He received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from POSTECH and completed postdoctoral research at MIT, USA. With over three decades of academic and research experience, Prof. Jung has led numerous national research centers in solar energy, photovoltaic systems, agrivoltaics, and renewable energy innovation. He has published 19 books, 114 SCI-indexed papers, and holds 23 patents in the fields of renewable energy, optimal design, computer simulation, and artificial intelligence. He has served in multiple leadership roles, including Director of several government-supported renewable energy programs and Organizing Chair of international photovoltaic conferences. His contributions to renewable energy research have been recognized with multiple national awards from Korean government agencies and academic societies.

Laszlo Adam Ph.D. head geologist at Arctic Green Engineering Services Ltd with more than 20 years’ experience on exploring geothermal resources. He has participated numerous successful geothermal projects in Pannonian Basin providing expertise on integrated geothermal prospect analysis, geothermal well siting, geological plans for deep drillings, design of geothermal exploration activities, well log and seismic data interpretation, geological risk mitigation measures, geological and hydrogeological models.

Professor Hongwei Wu (FIMechE, FRAeS, FEI, FWSSET) is a full Professor of Thermofluids & Head of the Energy and Sustainable Manufacturing (ENSM) Research Group in the School of Physics, Engineering and Computer Science (SPECS), and he also leads the Research Group in Monitoring Climate and its Impact (MCI) at the University of Hertfordshire, UK. Professor Wu is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and has been elected Fellow of several prestigious professional bodies, including the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FIMechE), the Royal Aeronautical Society (FRAeS), the Energy Institute (FEI), and the World Society of Sustainable Energy Technologies (FWSSET). Professor Wu received his BEng and PhD in Thermofluids from Beihang University, completing his PhD in 2004 through a Joint PhD Programme with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Professor Wu's research spans a broad spectrum of energy and thermal sciences, with expertise in Advanced Cooling Technology, Energy Conversion and Storage Systems, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, Battery Thermal Management System (BTMS), Two Phase and Multiphase Flow, Fluid-Solid Conjugate Heat Transfer, Modelling/Simulation methods (CFD)-DNS, LES, MDS, Optimisation and Process Control, AI-Machine Learning (ML)-Deep Neural Networks (DNNs).

Antti Saurama is an economic geographer specialized in transportation, manufacturing, and industrial services with focus on innovations, value creation, and business models. He currently works as Director and Head of the Innovation Research Centre CCR at the Turku School of Economics, University of Turku, Finland. His previous engagements include i.a. Head of research unit of the Centre for Maritime Studies, University of Turku. Saurama has over 25 years of research, development, and analysis expertise from the transportation sector, technology, and manufacturing industries including over 50 industry-academia R&D-projects, national and European research platforms, and corporate market insights.

Dr. Masoud Babaei is an Associate Professor of Subsurface Engineering in the Department of Chemical Engineering at The University of Manchester. Since 2014, he has led a research team focused on developing advanced and computationally efficient predictive tools for a wide range of energy and environmental applications. His research expertise encompasses Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs), Solid Oxide Electrolysis Cells (SOECs), membrane technologies for CO₂ separation, Underground Gas and Hydrogen Storage (UGS/UHS), Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), and Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS). Dr. Babaei's work also includes fluid characterization and treatment of geofluids under both isothermal and non-isothermal conditions, as well as innovative integrated energy systems. His research contributes significantly to sustainable energy technologies, particularly in the fields of subsurface energy storage, carbon management, and combined heat and power applications such as CO₂ Plume Geothermal systems, where carbon dioxide is utilized to extract geothermal energy from underground reservoirs. Through his interdisciplinary research, Dr. Babaei continues to advance solutions for global energy sustainability and decarbonization challenges.

Pedro Henrique Kool is the Executive Director of Guofuhee Brasil, a global leader in hydrogen technologies and integrated energy solutions. With a background in chemical engineering and over 18 years of experience in process engineering, industrial operations, and international business development, Pedro has been actively leading strategic initiatives in the energy transition sector. His work focuses on the development of large-scale green hydrogen, Power-to-X applications, and industrial decarbonization projects across Brazil and Latin America. Yutaka Moritomo has completed his PhD in physics from University of Tokyo and postdoctoral studies from University of Tokyo. Now, he is the director of division of materials for energy storage and conversion, Tsukuba Research center of Energy Material Science (TREMS), University of Tsukuba. He has published more than 200 papers (total citation is 23,000, h =63, i10 = 237.).

Laurent Calame graduated from the School of Engineering and Business of the Canton of Vaud (HEIG-VD) in Yverdon-les-Bains. He worked for 5 years at the Laboratory for Application of Physics and Emerging Technologies (MNT-LAPTE) on two new lighting technologies (LED and plasma lamps). In 2009, Laurent won a grant from HEIG-VD to start the Lumartix project. In 2010, Laurent co-founded Lumartix and won two awards at the Geneva Inventions Fair; he filed two patents on the plasma lamp and improved its design to accelerate commercialization. Laurent serves as the CEO of Lumartix and fully devotes his time to the company's growth, a role he has held for 16 years.

Tapas K. Das, PhD, PE, BCEE, FAIChE, FICS, is a Chemical and Environmental Engineer, a Fellow member of the American Institute of Engineers and Indian Chemical Society; Past Chair of the AIChE's Environmental Division; Former Chair of the Air Pollution Control Committee of the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Board Certified Environmental Engineer (BCEE) and Board of Trustee with the Academy; former senior environmental engineer at the Washington Department of Ecology; as an Adjunct Faculty Member and Visiting Professor, since 2005 Prof. Das has been teaching over 16 different undergraduate & graduate courses in Civil, Environmental, & Mechanical Engineering, and Engineering Management programs at Saint Martin's University, Washington; taught number of short courses; formerly Assistant Professor in Paper Science and Chemical Engineering Department and the College of Natural Resources at the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point; supervised MS and PhD students; served as an external examiner for Chem. Eng. Program at the University of Surrey, UK, IIT Roorkee and Calcutta University. Prof. Das is a recipient of the Professor S. K. Sharma Medal and CHEMCON Distinguished Speaker Award for 2007 given by the Development Organization for Sustainable Transformation (DOST), Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE); and the recipient of the AIChE Environmental Division Service Award in 2016. Dr. Das holds a BS in Chemical Engineering (1973 Batch) from Jadavpur University in Kolkata, India, and PhD from Bradford University, England. Prof. Das was a postdoctoral fellow at London’s Imperial College of Science, Technology, and a visiting scientist at Princeton University. He has wide practical and theoretical experience in various areas including air toxics and aerosols, advanced industrial wastewater treatment for water reuse, solid waste management and combustion, profitable process pollution prevention, reuse, recycle, redesign, environmental process intensification, circular economy, life cycle process or product design as a tool for innovation, industrial ecology and eco-industrial park, sustainable engineering, and sustainability. Dr. Das is a registered professional engineer (PE) in the states of Washington and Wisconsin. Prof. Das serves as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Solid Waste Technology and Management, published by International Society of Waste Management, Air and Water. PhD-Eng. Jose I. ROJAS is an Associate Professor from the Department of Physics – Division of Aerospace Engineering, of Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC BarcelonaTECH), in Spain. After obtaining his MEng. in Aerospace Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (ETSIA UPM), in Madrid (Spain), Dr. Rojas worked as intern in the Division of Development of the Air Navigation System (DDSNA) of Spanish Airports and Air Navigation (AENA), in Madrid. Later, he joined UPC, where he has made research in various National and International R&D projects within the Research Group on Characterization of Materials (GCM): the viscoelastic properties of aerospace aluminium alloys, and composite material applications in the aerospace sector and in concentrated solar power, and, more recently, wind resource assessment focused mainly on thermal winds, and active flow control applications in wind turbines. To continuously improve his formation, he has been student at: the 2005 Community of Ariane Cities (CVA) Summer School, in Barcelona (Spain); the 8th Minerva Winter School, Weizmann Institute of Science, in Rehovot (Israel); and the Summer Session Program (SSP) 2007 of the International Space University (ISU)-Beihang University, in Beijing (China). He has also done a pre-doctoral research stay as Visiting Scholar at the University of British Columbia (UBC), in Vancouver (Canada), and a post-doctoral research stay at ACMM-University of Sydney (Australia). Finally, he worked as intern in the Air Transport Section (ATS), Dept. of Peace Keeping Operations (DPKO), United Nations Headquarters, New York, NY (USA), where he worked on heliport certification, and he was representative of the NGO Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). He is also proud of his contributions to the Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Aerospace Eng. at UPC, where he has imparted lessons, co-designed and coordinated various subjects and activities, e.g., the Model Rocket Workshop (awarded twice; once with Honorific Mention from the Jury in the 10th Ed. of the Awards to Quality in University Education of the Social Council of the UPC), etc. At present day, he is the Academic Coordinator of the Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Systems Engineering of EETAC-UPC and Coordinator of the PhD Doctoral Program in Aerospace Science and Engineering.

Dr. Md Jahirul Islam (Jahirul M. I.) is a senior researcher at Central Queensland University, Australia, and is recognised among the world’s top 2% most-cited scientists for year 2025 & 2024 (Elsevier & Stanford). He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering with expertise in renewable energy, hydrogen, waste-to-energy, and sustainable technologies. Dr. Islam has authored more than 90 peer-reviewed papers in high-impact journals, achieving over 7,000 citations and an h-index of 35, and has secured more than AUD $1.9 million in competitive research funding. His work has been recognised through several national and international awards, including the Advance Queensland Industry Fellowship Award, the Best Oral Presentation Award at NEFES 2025 (Japan), and finalist recognition in the Waste Recycling Industry Association Queensland (WRIQ) 2025 Industry Award. Widely invited as a keynote and invited speaker at international conferences across Europe, Asia, and Australia, Dr. Islam also serves on editorial boards and as a reviewer for leading journals, contributing to global research excellence.

Li Fang was born in Yancheng, Jiangsu. He received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Hohai University in 2003. From 2003 to 2004, he worked at Hohai University. In 2004, he joined Nanjing Institute of Technology, where he is currently an Associate Professor. His research interests include power electronics, intelligent control, and industrial network technologies. He has led and participated in the completion of one Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation project, one Jiangsu Provincial Higher Education Natural Science Foundation project, and one Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory Open Fund project. He holds eight granted invention patents and two granted utility model patents. He has led the completion of over ten industry-academia-research projects, with total funding exceeding two million yuan. As first author, he has published over ten papers. He has taught courses including Microcomputer Principles and Applications, Power Electronics Technology, Electrical Control and PLC, and Fieldbus Technology.

A. W. Jayawardena is an adjunct professor in the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Hong Kong. In the past, he has been a visiting professor at Chu Hai College of Higher Education in Hong Kong, a technical advisor to the Research and Development Centre of Nippon Koei Co. Ltd, Japan, and the Research and Training Advisor to the International Centre for Water Hazard and Risk Management, Japan, under the auspices of UNESCO. Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Constantinos Sourkounis is a distinguished professor at Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany, where he leads the Institute for Power Systems Technology and Power Mechatronics. He earned his Dipl.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing. degrees from TU Clausthal, Germany, in 1989 and 1994, respectively, and received his habilitation in 2003 from the Institute of Electrical Power Engineering. Since 2017, Prof. Sourkounis has also headed the branch of the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy and Energy System Technology in Bochum. His main research interests encompass mechatronic drives, renewable energy sources, decentralized energy systems, and energy supply systems for transportation, with over 370 publications and extensive collaborative research with industry partners. Prof. Sourkounis has served in numerous advisory and leadership roles, including as a member of various scientific boards, program juries, and national committees in the field of energy and mobility, as well as being active in advanced engineering education and currently chairing the Evaluation Commission for Teaching at his faculty.

Eduardo Miklos is a regulatory and public policy professional with over 15 years of experience in Brazil’s energy sector. He has worked with leading renewable developers to shape national frameworks for solar, wind, and hydropower, and contributed to Brazil’s offshore wind regulation. Eduardo focuses on bridging policy, regulation, and market design to enable the energy transition in emerging economies.

Dr. Mohamed El Aroussi is a researcher and professor at the Ecole Hassania des Travaux Publics (EHTP) in Casablanca, Morocco. With more than 15 years of research and teaching experience, his work focuses on artificial intelligence, computer vision, and smart systems. His recent interests include applying machine learning and data-driven approaches to optimize renewable energy systems and support sustainable urban development. Dr. El Aroussi has contributed to several academic publications and edited books in the fields of intelligent systems and energy innovation.

Prof. Daniel Adu is an Associate Professor at Jiangsu University, China, and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Energy and Natural Resources, Ghana, and other Universities abroad. He is also a fellow at the Regional Centre of Energy and Environmental Sustainability (RCEES) with over 18 years of teaching and Research experience. Prof Adu has served many leadership roles both in Academic and other fields, which include: Coordinating Director of Belt & Road African Sector, Jiangsu University, Academic Advisor for Graduate Students, Overseas Education College, Jiangsu University, Director of 2+2 Programs, Director of Academic Partnerships, D.R.E.A.M. Education Solutions USA, Director of Postgraduate Studies, Cameroon Institute of Renewable Energy, Secretary of International Affairs, National Research Centre of Pumps, China, Coordinator of Teaching Management Assistance, and many more. Prof Adu’s research interests include Renewable energy technologies, CO2 emission, Environmental Management, Energy Management, small hydro-power, CFD, Research Methods, Project Management & Research, and pump as turbine. His contributions towards the advancement of energy and environmental sustainability are evident through numerous articles in top Academic Journals, along with several authored book chapters. Prof. Adu serves as a reviewer and editorial Board member for various esteemed academic journals. He is a distinguished conference speaker, motivational speaker, and social commentator.

Dr. Yang Hu, who obtained his PhD from Wuhan University in 2021 and completed his postdoctoral fellowship at Tsinghua University in 2023, has formulated strategic plans for several companies, serving as CEO or holding corresponding positions. He focuses on the research and engineering industrialization application of new materials, with research and industrialization content covering energy catalysis (zero-carbon electrochemical ammonia synthesis, medium-high temperature fuel cells, lithium-ion batteries, nano and mesoporous material preparation, atmospheric water extraction), environmental protection (high-efficiency SCR reaction using liquid ammonia instead of urea, hydrogen sulfide gas separation), and semiconductor materials (photoresist). He has participated in and completed dozens of national-level projects in China, and published nearly 30 high-level papers and patents. His current major achievements include: 1. Zero-carbon electrochemical green ammonia synthesis (Magnesium Chloride Cycle, MCC method for ammonia synthesis) - a world first; 2. Development of high-efficiency tail gas treatment system using liquid ammonia (HSCR technology) - a world first, with engineering practice and commercial implementation in China; 3. Development and industrialization of the world's first high-etching-resistant electron beam photoresist - a world first, with commercial practice. Dr. Yang Hu started his entrepreneurial journey during his PhD studies, mainly focusing on environmental protection, energy, and information data issues in social development. He aims to promote industrial upgrading and development through the research and engineering marketization application of new materials, driving high-quality green development of human society and resource environment in a coordinated manner. Dr. Yang Hu is willing to work with numerous collaborators to promote the beautiful development of society and achieve the beauty of integration.

Dr. Nivin Abdelmeguid is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, Egypt. Her research addresses the nexus of energy, environment, and sustainable development with a focus on climate policy. She earned her PhD in Euro-Mediterranean Studies, specializing in energy and environmental economics. Beyond academia, she serves as a consultant for national and international organizations, including the Egyptian Ministry of Environment, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP Egypt), and the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Group. Dr. Abdelmeguid was a Lead Author for Egypt’s 2024 Biennial Transparency Report (BTR1) under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), contributing to key chapters on institutional arrangements and the progress tracking toward nationally determined contributions in the energy sector. In addition, she was selected as an Expert Reviewer by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) for the Working Group II contribution to the Special Report on Climate Change and Cities (SRCities). Her research further explores energy transitions, decarbonization, and climate adaptation and mitigation, with particular attention to how governance, policy design, and innovation align with global sustainability agendas such as the circular economy and emerging paradigms of sustainable regeneration. Her published work covers a broad spectrum of energy and environmental economics, addressing Egypt’s energy transition, the water–energy–climate nexus, and gender-responsive climate finance. She has also explored environmental justice in the Arab region and contributed to international volumes on regenerative development and innovation in the global energy sector, promoting forward-looking perspectives on equitable and net-zero transitions.

Mohammad Abuali, MSc, is an Energy Systems Engineer specializing in renewable energy, green hydrogen, and sustainability. He holds a Master's degree in Energy Systems Engineering and has hands-on experience in hydrogen production, energy research, business development, and project management. Mohammad is actively engaged in energy awareness and sustainability initiatives and is currently working toward establishing an energy-focused innovation initiative, contributing to the advancement of clean and future energy solutions.

Dr. Norazlan Hashim is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam, Malaysia. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2022, and his M.Eng. and B.Eng. degrees from the University of Malaya in 2007 and 2001, respectively. His research interests include MPPT, power electronic converters, AI, PV systems and educational technology. His current research focuses on intelligent optimization-based MPPT techniques for improving the efficiency and reliability of PV energy conversion systems under partial shading and severe environmental conditions. He has led research projects related to PV systems and MPPT, published in indexed journals and conferences, and received several best paper awards and innovation recognitions.

Silvia Roscioli is a Naval Engineer specialized in environmental sustainability. Her master's thesis addressed SO₂ abatement in ship exhausts, and she is now pursuing a PhD in Industrial Engineering at the University of Naples “Federico II”. Her research focuses on magnetic gearboxes as an innovation for remote power-transmission applications, due to their higher efficiency and reduced maintenance needs. She applies both engineering modelling and statistical analysis, and has experience with finite-element tools and parametric studies.

Martina Barrasso is a Mechanical Engineer specialized in energy efficiency for sustainable development. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Industrial Engineering for Energy Processes at the University of Naples Federico II. Her research focuses on the development of supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques to minimize energy waste through non-invasive strategies. Her studies have been carried out within the EERA (European Energy Research Alliance) program on energy efficiency in the industrial sector. She emphasizes that innovative solutions often lie in the adopted strategy, where combining statistical methods and engineering approaches represents the first step toward reducing energy waste without structural modifications.

Dr. Stuart So is a faculty member at the University of Exeter and the Programme Director for MSc Business Analytics. His research includes clean energy, sustainability, and climate change mitigation in the area of sustainable operations management (SOM), and sentiment analysis and sustainability modelling underpinned by AI/ML specialising in NLP and environmental analytics on the side of data science. Stuart received his doctorate from Macquarie University and completed his fellowship at the City University of Hong Kong. Stuart has published over 50 research articles in major peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He received two best paper awards and a research acknowledgement prizefrom the IEEE Conference, ANZAM Conference, and the University of Melbourne respectively. Stuart is an editorial board member of journals at MDPI, IGI-Globaland Emerald and guest edited a number of special issues in information management and environmental analytics for Emerald and MDPI. Professionally, Stuart is an ISO14001 EMS auditor, ISO22000 FSMS auditor, Certified Carbon Auditor (Energy Institute) and Senior Member of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (SMIEEE). He contributes to practice as an environmental consultant and a data scientist.

Rachel Asante-Owusu is the Senior Programme Coordinator for Energy and Nature at IUCN, where she leads global work at the energy–nature nexus. Her work focuses on supporting an accelerated and just transition to renewable energy while safeguarding biodiversity, ecosystem services, and natural resource–dependent communities.

My name is Pitulac Otilia, and I am a second-year PhD student in Civil Engineering and Building Services. I am originally from Romania and have an interdisciplinary academic background that combines geographical sciences with technical engineering. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and a Master’s degree in Geomatics and Cartography (Cadastre), fields that have strengthened my interest in applying geospatial technologies to the design, monitoring, and management of built infrastructure.Currently, my doctoral research focuses on identifying and implementing innovative solutions for integrating geospatial data into sustainable design and development processes, with an emphasis on flood prevention and the sustainable use of soil resources. I am also particularly interested in how modern spatial analysis tools can support the transition toward smart cities and more energy-efficient infrastructures.I have published one article in the MDPI journal and actively participate in scientific events and conferences dedicated to advancements in engineering, geomatics, and sustainable energy.

Dr. Temesgen Lerebo is an accomplished academic and development professional with extensive experience in program management, vocational education, and sustainable community development. He holds a PhD in Educational Leadership and Management and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Wachemo University, Ethiopia, as well as the Program Director at Light for Generation (LFG). In these roles, he leads initiatives focusing on youth empowerment, climate resilience, and renewable energy solutions for rural communities. Dr. Temesgen conducted advanced research at the Institute of Educational Economics, Beijing Normal University, where his work emphasized educational innovation, skills development, and sustainable growth. He is also the Founding President of the Ethiopian Educational Leadership Professionals Association (EELPA). His academic and professional interests focus on green skills development, renewable energy adoption, and the role of education in fostering sustainable livelihoods and climate-resilient communities across Africa.

My name is Adane Gebresilassie Hailemariam, and I am originally from Ethiopia, where I was born and raised. From an early age, I developed a deep passion for science, particularly chemistry, which has guided my academic and professional journey. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Applied Chemistry from Arba Minch University in 2010. After graduation, I was honored to be selected by the Ministry of Higher Education of Ethiopia and appointed as an instructor at Dire Dawa University, marking the beginning of my academic career in higher education. Following a year of teaching, I returned to Arba Minch University to pursue a Master of Science in Inorganic Chemistry, which I completed in 2013. Upon completion of my MSc, I resumed my position at Dire Dawa University, where I spent several years teaching undergraduate students, supervising research projects, conducting academic research, and engaging in community service activities. I later pursued my PhD in Sustainable Chemical Science and Technology at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University under the Taiwan International Graduate Program (TIGP). My doctoral research focused on the development of lithium-rich sulfide-based cathode materials for lithium-ion battery applications. Currently, I am a postdoctoral fellow at National Taiwan University, continuing my research in the field of advanced energy materials.

Dr. Zahra Azzouz is a Teacher-Researcher in Microbiology at the University of Bejaia, Algeria. She holds a PhD in Microbiology (2021) from the University of Bejaia, with a focus on the production and optimization of fungal cellulases and xylanases using solid-state fermentation, enzymatic synergies, and saccharification of lignocellulosic co-products. She also holds a Magistère in Applied Microbiology (2015) and an engineering degree in Biological Engineering (2011). Dr. Azzouz has extensive research experience in enzymatic biotechnology, microbial fermentation, and waste valorization, with multiple national and international collaborations. She completed research internships and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Biological Research Center of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), Madrid, Spain, contributing to projects on enzyme production and lignocellulosic biomass valorization. Her scientific work has led to more than 20 publications in peer-reviewed journals, covering enzyme production, microbial bioconversion of agro-industrial residues, and biotechnological applications of fungi and actinobacteria. She has also presented her research at numerous national and international conferences, contributing as an oral speaker and organizer. Dr. Azzouz is actively involved in supervising graduate students, leading research projects in microbiology, biotechnology, and environmental sustainability, and coordinating workshops and academic activities aimed at advancing applied microbiology and bioresource utilization. Her expertise spans microbial enzyme production, lignocellulosic biomass valorization, fermentation optimization, and bioprocess engineering.

ASAD ULLAH received is an enthusiastic and committed Associate Professor with the School of Information Engineering, Xi’an Eurasia University. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Engineering from Chang’An University, where he established a strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning for Non-Renewable and Renewable Energy, and Image Processing. Over the years, he has gained extensive experience in teaching and conducting research, fueling his passion for academia and fostering a positive learning environment.
